Job Description
As the Head of Risk & Resilience strategy, you’ll be responsible for delivering and leading Business Continuity and Crisis Management programs that strengthen Nokia’s ability to anticipate, prepare for and respond to crisis events and disruptions. You’ll work across Business Groups and Corporate Functions, embedding resilience in everything we do — from governance and digitization to crisis response and physical security.
You’ll collaborate with senior leaders and specialized teams to ensure that Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and Physical Security are seamlessly integrated and future-ready. This is a high visibility role where strategic thinking meets operational excellence and its delivery.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Lead global Business Continuity and Crisis Management risk and resilience initiatives across Nokia’s business groups.
- Develop and monitor resilience KPIs, metrics and reporting frameworks.
- Anticipate emerging risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Oversee governance frameworks and performance indicators for Risk & Resilience.
- Drive digitization and automation to streamline business continuity and crisis response processes.
- Evaluate and implement next-generation tools for BCM program management.
- Partner closely with Safety & Physical Security, Enterprise Risk Management, Quality & Audit and Business Operations teams.
- Build strong relationships across functions and regions to ensure consistent global standards.
- Ensure readiness of Crisis & Continuity Management Teams (CCMTs).
- Lead physical security planning and crisis training, including in high-risk regions.
- Support physical security programs for executive travel and major events.
- Manage travel security and medical response frameworks for global staff.
- Develop and manage resilience reporting (e.g., Resilience Index).
- Align crisis and continuity management with NIS2 and other reporting standards.
- Lead internal communications aligned with the Safety & Physical Security strategy.
Key Skills And Experience
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in Risk Management, Business Continuity (BCM) and Crisis Management at a global or enterprise level.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills across diverse cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement governance, metrics and reporting systems.
- Experience with digitization and automation of risk or continuity processes.
- Knowledge of ISO 22301, NIS2, or equivalent standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel globally when needed.
Desirable
- Experience with supply chain security, global operations, or executive protection programs.
- Exposure to geopolitical risk analysis and enterprise risk frameworks.
