OSINT Analyst – Clarksville, Tennessee
Emergent Risk International (ERI) is seeking to hire a full-time OSINT Analyst to be embedded with one of our multinational clients on an annual contract. Candidates for this early career role (approx. 2-5 years’ experience minimum) will have an analytical and data-driven mindset, desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a focus on threat intelligence analysis and investigations.

The position will be a fully onsite, in office five days a week role, based in Clarksville, TN.

● Online Platform: We offer a subscription-based online portal that provides a workspace environment for security intelligence analysts, combining ERI’s expert analysis with hundreds of curated datasets and our suite of data visualization tools.
● Consulting: We help companies develop and improve their intelligence programs, providing end-to-end support; from assessing needs and providing analysis to recruiting and hiring highly qualified candidates.
● Embedded Analyst Services: We support our clients with embedded analysts, full- and part-time, short- and long-term. Our embedded analysts work directly for our clients, allowing them the benefit of employing intelligence professionals trained to ERI’s strict standards of competency and continually professionally developed by ERI’s senior leadership, armed with access to ERI’s proprietary tools and deep backbench of in-house subject matter experts.
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking an experienced OSINT Analyst with deep expertise in open-source intelligence (OSINT) to support global security operations. This role will focus on risk assessment, OSINT research and reporting to safeguard client personnel, assets, and operations. The ideal candidate will combine advanced OSINT tradecraft with strong analytical, briefing, and communication skills to inform high-level decision-making.
This analyst will monitor social media and dark/deep web threats, research local, regional and national databases and provide support for event risk assessments. Experience in OSINT research and analysis, source verification and grading, political and geopolitical risk, and familiarity with the US OSINT landscape is a plus.
Primary Responsibilities
· Conduct multi-source OSINT collection and analysis to assess threats at local, regional, and global levels, including local, regional and national databases and government sources, deep/dark web sources and social media.
· Deliver real-time incident reporting and tracking of events and incidents including potentially violent groups targeting client.
· Develop detailed knowledge of client risk exposure and tailor intelligence reporting accordingly.
· Interpret and visualize high-quality data to identify trends and contextualize intelligence findings.
· Deliver concise intelligence products, including threat assessments, situation reports, and executive briefings, for senior leadership.
· Maintain awareness of broader risk factors affecting the business, including financial, legal, geopolitical and reputational.
· Provide client-focused service with availability for incident support outside of normal hours.
· Build and maintain internal and external relationships to enable effective information flow.
· Monitor emerging regulatory, social, and political trends affecting workforce safety.
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in intelligence, security studies, international business, journalism, law enforcement, or related field.
· Minimum 2+ years of experience in OSINT and intelligence and investigations (private or public sector), demonstrating increasing responsibilities.
· Proven experience conducting OSINT investigations and local/regional/national government database and information gathering intelligence.
· Deep expertise in social media and dark web monitoring.
· Familiarity with tools such as Everbridge VCC, Factal or similar intelligence platforms preferred.
· Excellent writing and editing skills, with ability to produce concise intelligence reports for executive audiences.
· Familiarity with GDPR, US and global data privacy regulations a plus.
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
· Ability to perform under pressure and respond quickly during crisis situations.
· Commitment to ethical intelligence practices and confidentiality of sensitive information.
· Availability for on-call support during global events and crisis situations.
· Ability to pass background checks (employment, education) and drug screening (where applicable).
Working Hours: Role is a standard Monday-Friday local business hours position; however, as a member of a global security team, the successful candidate will be required to work some out of business hours to attend meetings or calls in other time zones. Flexibility to support on call schedules over holidays, weekends and when other team members are on PTO would be required. ERI is committed to a manageable and sustainable work-life balance. Remuneration: This role will be a full-time (40 hours per week) salaried position. Pay will be commensurate with experience.
