Summary of Role
As temperatures rise and geopolitical tension ramps up, climate change issues have never been more important than they are now. Do you have passion and knowledge to drive and influence financial solutions and policy innovations that will drive the global economy towards its low carbon future?
Climate change and climate transition issues are getting increasingly complex meaning corporations, financial institutions and governments need trusted advisors who understand the issues. As one of the largest firms in the risk management industry, WTW is well placed to help our clients navigate through this uncertainty.
WTW’s Climate Practice is looking for individuals with a talent for independent thinking, effective collaboration and pragmatic problem-solving skills to join our climate transition analytics (CTA) team. The CTA team has a hybrid role, with our research informing WTW’s house view on emerging climate transition trends as well as informing consulting activities and the design of new data and investment products. CTA analysis currently powers investment vehicles with over $10 billion in assets under management.
The new Associates will benefit from working alongside some of the brightest minds and experts in the industry and in a growing and supportive team. Learn professional skills across climate risk to financial and economic modelling and programming languages (such as Python) through a mix of formal and on-the-job training.
You will be based in London with the potential for project-based travel. The team has a global remit and in recent years has carried out projects in Colombia, Indonesia, Ghana and Mexico. We work with clients ranging from central banks and development banks to pension funds, asset managers and corporates across all parts of the economy, from natural resources and battery metals to industrials, materials and agribusiness.
