Associate Director, Strategic Intelligence
Singapore (hybrid)
About the Company
Our client is an established, growing intelligence and advisory firm that helps senior decision-makers at leading companies, financial institutions, and law firms make high-stakes decisions. Its work covers major transactions, regulatory and policy matters, senior appointments, and sensitive situations such as investigations and disputes.
The Role
The company is hiring an Associate Director to lead some of its most complex client engagements across the Asia-Pacific region. One month you might help a deal team weigh the risks in a major transaction. Another, you might advise a client on how political changes should shape its strategy. The work spans many industries and countries, so the ability to get up to speed quickly and use sound judgment matters more than knowing a particular subject. Associate Directors present their advice in writing and in direct discussions with senior clients.
What You’ll Do
- Run demanding client engagements from start to finish with limited oversight, and own the quality of the work.
- Gather insight through research and a network of expert sources.
- Give clear, confident advice to senior executives and investors.
- Manage and develop small project teams.
- Contribute to the growth and operations of the firm more broadly.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in law, finance, consulting, corporate strategy, government, or a related field.
- Strong project management skills and a track record of leading complex work independently.
- A curious, persistent, investigative mindset.
- Sound commercial judgment and the ability to earn the trust of senior clients.
- A strong generalist with an excellent academic record and strong writing and analytical skills.
What’s Offered
Competitive salary, bonus, and equity, plus hybrid working, comprehensive health and insurance benefits, generous paid time off, and a clear path to Director-level leadership.
