Manager, Strategic Intelligence
New York, NY (hybrid)
About the Company
Our client is a growing advisory firm that gives business leaders and investors independent insight to support high-stakes decisions. Its clients include private equity firms, law firms, and large corporations that need a clearer picture of commercial, regulatory, or reputational risk.
The Role
The company is hiring a Manager to run client engagements, mainly across North America. The work is varied. One project might look at risk around an acquisition target, another at the political outlook for proposed legislation, and another at the background of a senior executive. Managers deliver findings in written reports and on calls with deal teams, legal teams, and senior executives. They’re expected to pick up new industries and subject areas quickly.
What You’ll Do
- Lead research-driven client engagements from start to finish.
- Gather insight through research and a network of expert sources.
- Write clear, well-reasoned analysis and present it confidently to senior clients.
- Over time, manage more complex projects and small teams.
What We’re Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience in law, finance, consulting, corporate strategy, government, intelligence, or a related field.
- Strong commercial awareness and a solid grasp of U.S. politics, business, and current affairs.
- A curious, persistent, investigative mindset.
- Sound judgment and the ability to understand what clients actually need.
- Excellent writing skills and a strong academic record.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
What’s Offered
Competitive salary, hybrid working, comprehensive health benefits, generous paid time off, formal training, and a clear path to advancement in a collaborative, growing firm. More experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
